Chapter 16

Oliver

It doesn't take long for me to find who I'm looking for. Sebastian is standing with Roman near the edge of the lawn in front of the dining hall. The two of them seem to be engaged in a heated discussion, and I'm not sure I should interrupt, but something pushes me to do it anyway. I feel like this is important, and I don't want to wait a minute longer than is needed.

"Oliver!" Sebastian exclaims with excitement when he sees me approaching them. He gives me a big hug and looks at Roman with a triumphant grin. "You were right!"

"Seb, please…" Roman sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose. "This doesn't mean anything."

"Doesn't mean what?" I ask, confused by the statement.

"Nothing important," Roman assures me. "Now, did you need something from us?"

"Oh." I look around quietly and then lower my voice. "Do you guys know somewhere private we can talk? There's something we need to discuss."

They share a concerned look, and Roman nods. "We can go back to my place. No one should bother us there."

"Sounds great, let's go."

The walk is mostly silent and a bit awkward, but thankfully it's not a long walk.

"So, what's going on?" Sebastian asks as we step into the cool darkness of Roman's cabin.

"There's something I've been wanting to discuss with the two of you," I say quietly. "Something that came up this morning when Sebastian entered the dining hall. I think maybe you guys have an idea what I'm talking about."

"Yeah, um, sorry about that," Sebastian mumbles, his cheeks turning pink. "I guess I got a little too excited and…yeah. It's not a good excuse."

"It's alright, I understand." I smile before taking a deep breath. "Things have been so confusing for me the last few days, but I've finally come to realize something really important."

"And what's that?" Roman asks as he crosses his arms over his chest and leans back against the wall.

"Well, you both seem interested in me, and I'm interested in you too." I shuffle somewhat uncertainly. "My wolf hasn't stopped whining at me since we met. It's been pushing me toward you guys. All four of you, and I can't just pick one between you."

"So, wait…what are you saying?" Sebastian frowns deeply.

"I'm saying, I can't pick just one mate. I won't pick just one. I want all four of you," I explain.

Roman raises a brow and gives me an unimpressed look.

"You're not serious," Sebastian says with a huff.

"I'm dead serious," I reply. "I've been thinking about it quite a lot since I woke up this morning, and I'm convinced that this is what I want. I want all four of you to be in my life forever. I want all four of you to be my mates. I want…I want to be your omega."

The silence in the room is deafening. The tension is thick and almost suffocating. I'm starting to regret ever suggesting it.

"This is a joke, right?" Sebastian laughs and shakes his head. "I'm not buying it. Come on, Ollie, you can't seriously want all four of us to claim you.
